📋 Description

• Support the provider recruitment and contracting process to ensure strategic coverage of providers for the Texas Territory across Commercial, IFM, and Government Programs • Conduct small to mid-size contract negotiations for small hospitals, physicians, physician groups, IPAs, and ancillary providers • Develop and maintain relationships with providers • Support complex hospital and physician contracting activities • Travel within the assigned territory, including overnight stays less than 10%

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor Degree and at least one year experience developing and negotiating provider contracts OR 5 years managed care operations experience handling independent work with at least one year experience developing and negotiating provider contracts • Meet deadlines and work well under pressure • Verbal and written communication skills • Organizational and planning skills • PC proficiency including Microsoft Office • Analytical skills • Ability and willingness to travel within assigned territory, including overnight stays • Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
