📋 Description

• Deliver engaging and interactive simulated learning sessions to students undertaking virtual placements • Support students in developing their clinical knowledge and skills • Provide constructive feedback and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment • Work with university partners and internal colleagues to help ensure students receive an outstanding placement experience • Develop or review high-quality course content and learning materials for healthcare students • Produce accurate, engaging and evidence-based educational resources • Ensure content reflects current clinical practice and is appropriate for intended learners

🎯 Requirements

• Current HCPC registration as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) • Substantial experience working in a clinical setting • Experience of supporting, supervising or teaching healthcare students • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills • Confidence using digital platforms and online learning tools • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team • Commitment to delivering high-quality education and supporting student learning • For content development work, ability to produce clear, accurate and evidence-based written materials • Practice Educator training or qualification (desirable) • Experience of developing or reviewing healthcare education materials (desirable) • Experience of delivering teaching or training virtually (desirable)
