• Support and lead Research and Development projects related to Transformer Service Operations. • Contribute to operations around transformer service portfolio, best practices collection, and standardization. • Coordinate improvements within Transformer Service HUBs and local units together with Technology Centers and Research teams. • Run standardization projects and propose/develop new operational concepts around new services; simulate expected performance in pilots. • Organize prototyping and testing activities to validate new and existing transformer services. • Create standard policies, instructions, and training material to ensure effective implementation of targeted processes (operational, quality, knowledge transfer). • Provide support to team members and local units (operations, engineering, product management, product marketing) when needed. • Participate in and assist team members in complex operations activities. • Collaborate globally with Hitachi Energy Research scientists, Technology Centers, Technology Managers and Engineers from various GPGs.
• MSc education within Electrical or Mechanical Engineering field. • More than 10 years of proven experience within Power Transformers operations. • Experience in transformer service portfolio within multinational environment (highly valued). • Ability to use effective methodologies around knowledge and experience capture. • Ability to create technical and operational documentation and training instructions. • Spirit of innovation and out-of-the-box thinking. • Excellent teamwork abilities in international teams and strong interpersonal skills. • High level of self-motivation. • Collaborative, structured, problem-solving, self-driven, solutions-oriented approach. • Strong communication skills. • Fluent spoken and written English; other languages an advantage.
