📋 Description

• Represent Hitachi Energy with state and local governments to drive energy and manufacturing policy • Lead engagement in key states, including site visits and local advocacy efforts • Collaborate with community managers on regional events and initiatives • Develop messaging materials and secure thought leadership opportunities • Advance grid, AI/data center, and manufacturing policy with state officials • Build strategic relationships with governors, legislators, and trade associations • Monitor and analyze state regulatory developments • Support cross-functional teams with policy insights and recommendations • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 5–8 years of experience in state government relations or consultancy • Proven success in Southeastern U.S. policy engagement • Experience with grid and manufacturing policy • Skilled in policy research and regulatory analysis • Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication skills • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
