📋 Description

• Provide tailored suggestions and solutions by understanding customer needs and inspiring customers to purchase from The Home Depot • Create, maintain, and improve customer relationships while interacting daily with associates and customers during sales, product, and installation inquiries • Qualify new customers seeking customized products and sell directly to customers, or create opportunities for complex designs to transfer to a Virtual Apron Design Specialist • Assist customers with the online configurator tool and general inquiries • Answer questions about order status • Follow up with vendors, providers, and stores on customer projects and timelines • Make outbound calls to follow up on online requests and in-store leads • Share the value of working with The Home Depot • Obtain payment to ensure a positive Virtual Apron customer experience • Facilitate inbound calls, qualify customers, warm transfer customers to appropriate teams, and assist with the Online Configurator Tool • Drive sales through consultative selling and contribute to personal and team sales goals via phone and/or online • Follow up with vendors and stores on customer projects to expedite and communicate timelines • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager • Report typically to the Contact Center Supervisor

🎯 Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to negotiate, handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances with internal and external customers • Consultative selling experience • Passion for providing excellent customer service to meet customer needs • 3+ years of design and retail, specialty retail, outside sales, or trade experience • Advanced knowledge of door and window design and installation • Ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision • High school diploma and/or GED • No additional education required • No previous leadership experience required • Certifications: None • Competencies: Action Oriented, Decision Quality, Tech Savvy, Drives Results, Organizational Savvy, Drive Sales, professional consultative phone and written communication skills

• Remote/Virtual work arrangement • Pay of $18.00 per hour • Occasional overnight travel less than 5% of the time
