• Provide personal care support, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming, and daily living activities • Support service users with mobility and movement while ensuring safety and dignity • Maintain clean and safe environments in service users’ homes and communal spaces • Communicate with service users about their needs and preferences • Collaborate with colleagues and healthcare professionals to deliver consistent, person-centred care • Assist with meal preparation and support eating and drinking where required • Monitor and report changes in service users’ health or wellbeing • Maintain accurate, confidential care records • Support social activities and engagement to promote wellbeing and independence • Follow health and safety, safeguarding, and organisational policies • Undertake training and development opportunities
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle • Local residency in the Sawbridgeworth area • No previous care experience required; comprehensive induction training provided • Excellent people skills and clear, compassionate communication • Physical fitness and ability to provide hands-on personal care • Reliability, punctuality, and strong attendance commitment • Flexibility, including potential shift work • Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to undergo clearance during recruitment • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail • Resilience and ability to manage the emotional demands of care work • Passion for supporting vulnerable adults • First Aid certification or willingness to undertake training desirable • Care, healthcare, or customer service experience desirable • Applicant must reside in the UK and have the right to work in the UK • Visa sponsorship is not available
