📋 Description

• Primary legal contact for the entire development team • Lead/support SPV structuring and implementation of optimal legal, commercial and tax set-ups (in coordination with external advisors/tax experts) • Responsible for contracts in the development phase: drafting, negotiating and managing land option/lease/purchase agreements and grid connection agreements; standardizing templates, tracking deviations, advising on updates and maintaining audit-ready documentation • Liaise with landowners, project managers, municipalities and authorities (public offices, property/land registry departments) on land and contractual matters • Obtain and review land register extracts and easements, independently secure proprietary/real rights and carry out registrations • Analyse and optimise commercial clauses; benchmarking against market and competitors • Track contractual payments and milestones, initiate measures in case of deviations • Collaborate with institutional investors and AIFMs (Alternative Investment Fund Managers) to provide investor-ready solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Fully qualified lawyer (German Second State Examination) or business lawyer (LL.B./LL.M.) with a focus on commercial/energy law, corporate and contract law • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant professional experience, preferably in renewable energy, infrastructure or real estate, combined with strong expertise in drafting, negotiating and managing complex project and land contracts • Experience in contract and project development, land and property law, and in structuring corporate or financing frameworks is essential • Deep knowledge of land law, easements and real (proprietary) rights, particularly for renewable energy projects (PV and BESS) • Experience structuring and reviewing legal and commercial documentation related to SPVs, investors and financings • Continuous monitoring of legal developments (in particular the German Renewable Energy Act – EEG, tenancy, contract and energy law) and implementing them into internal processes • Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
