• Contribute to the development of the strategy for Analytics, Reporting and Metrics building in line with the overall Business Information Services strategy • Leverage visualization tools and business intelligence platforms • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy • Use Spotfire for analysis and review • Develop custom data models and algorithms for data sets • Provide specialist support for development, interpretation, and application of machine learning models • Apply analytical and statistical methods to solve use cases using various data sources and analytical tools • Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for using company data to drive business solutions • Liaise with, advise, and negotiate with customer groups on data modelling requirements and propose innovative solutions • Develop and implement capabilities to make routine requests more structured and efficient • Contribute to initiatives enabling faster and more effective data modelling, analysis, and provisioning • Ensure systems, code, and documentation are inspection ready
• 3+ years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field • Experience using Python and SQL to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets; R considered • Experience with cloud and data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies would be advantageous • Experience of clinical data and domains, including Clinical Trials or the wider Pharmaceutical industry, preferable but not necessary • Knowledge of machine learning techniques including clustering, decision tree learning, and artificial neural networks • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts including regression, properties of distributions, and statistical tests • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques • Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
