📋 Description

• Own the audit product surface end to end • Develop checks identifying late deliveries and incorrect carrier charges • Build the audit review queue for tens of thousands of findings per tenant • Enable customers to build, preview, version, configure, and manage their own audit checks • Develop explainability for incorrect-charge detection, including rate-card and version evidence • Build Django endpoints, data contracts, and pagination behavior • Determine where agents fit in audit creation and human-review flows • Implement guardrails for safe agentic functionality around customer freight spend • Partner directly with the squad's Product Lead on product decisions • Act as the second technical voice in the squad • Mentor the Junior engineer • Write frontend and backend code across React, TypeScript, Python, and Django • Work with BigQuery and dbt data systems • Own the audit review and configuration surface through production • Ensure queue performance at the largest tenant's data volume • Raise squad quality standards through code review, acceptance criteria, and engineering practices

🎯 Requirements

• Around five to eight years building and shipping production software • Real depth in React, TypeScript, state and interaction design at scale • Experience owning a product surface end to end, including resolving ambiguity independently • Genuine fullstack capability, including Python/Django and API contract design • Understanding of when client-side solutions are inappropriate • Strong interface performance and scale skills, including pagination, virtualisation, and server-side filtering • Experience building human-in-the-loop and explainability interfaces • Experience treating auditability as a product feature • Experience with code review, pairing, direct feedback, and mentoring • Practical AI-native experience using Cursor and Claude daily • Ability to provide appropriate context to AI agents and identify incorrect output • Ability to form and state a view in ambiguous situations • Nice to have: design-system ownership or complex data-surface design collaboration • Nice to have: Django REST, BigQuery, dbt, Cube Cloud, and GCP • Nice to have: LLM agents, RAG, or production evaluations • Nice to have: shipped agents for real work and built simulations to prove logic • Nice to have: logistics, supply chain, freight, or finance-adjacent domain experience
