📋 Description

• Shape the architectural direction of digital banking and financial services platforms • Define solution and enterprise architectures with client engineering and product leaders • Translate business and product requirements into pragmatic, deliverable designs • Provide architectural guidance across squads and product teams • Design end-to-end solutions across domains and teams • Define integration patterns, domain boundaries, and data flows • Evaluate architectural options and technical trade-offs • Ensure alignment with enterprise, regulatory, and programme constraints • Guide architectural decisions while balancing long-term sustainability with near-term delivery • Drive architectural quality across performance, scalability, resilience, security, data, and operational readiness • Ensure solutions are fit for production in regulated environments • Share architectural patterns and delivery insights with the wider engineering community

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in Solution or Technical Architecture, ideally within banking, financial services, or other regulated domains • Experience designing and delivering distributed, cloud-native systems • Comfort with microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and complex integrations • Solid grasp of modern engineering practices, domain modelling, and integration patterns • Ability to create and explain architectural artefacts such as diagrams, models, and decision records • Effective communication with engineers, product teams, and client stakeholders • Understanding of non-functional requirements and designing for scalability, resilience, performance, security, and operational excellence • Ability to work in transparent, collaborative, fully distributed environments • Ability to work autonomously in a consultancy setting as client needs evolve • Current knowledge of architectural principles, industry standards, and emerging technologies relevant to financial services
