📋 Description
• Inspire, motivate, and provide purposeful Maths subject knowledge to students aged 7–18 • Deliver engaging, interactive live virtual lessons in an online school environment • Maintain a positive and inspirational learning climate in Maths • Keep up to date with educational research and emerging pedagogy, sharing it through professional development • Integrate Maths learning across the curriculum where appropriate • Support school self-evaluation and improvement priorities • Help maintain and develop a high-quality school environment and profile • Promote students’ academic progress and well-being • Provide educational guidance and advice to students • Prepare or contribute to assessments, reports, and references in a timely manner • Participate in meetings and staff CPD opportunities • Collaborate with Maths Leaders of Learning, the Head of Faculty, and Heads of Subject • Contribute to the school’s Education Strategy and student success • Undertake other work specified by the line manager
🎯 Requirements
• Expertise and experience delivering Maths from KS3 to KS5 • Excellent subject knowledge and experience teaching Key Stage 5, either A Level or IB DP • Knowledge of effective ways to engage students in Maths • Capability to drive best practices and deliver high-quality material • Ability to work effectively within a team and support departmental implementation • Interest in online teaching and learning, with passion for student learning and development • Flexible, energetic approach and ability to thrive in a fast-changing, collaborative delivery culture • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to form good internal and external relationships • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Experience creating effective learning resources • Experience with academic monitoring and student progress • Ability to meet deadlines • Completed Inspired Application Form submitted with CV
