📋 Description

• Drives development and implementation of corporate policy through strategic partnerships • Works collaboratively to inform the organization's policies and objectives • Provides analysis of proposed federal legislation • Responsible for recommending company positions on federal legislation • Identify, monitor, and influence government legislation and public policy • Educate federal public policymakers on industry issues • Represent Illumina in assigned trade associations and coalitions • Provide insightful analysis of proposed federal administrative and legislative actions • Communicate directly and persuasively with government officials • Identify and monitor legislative and regulatory activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 15-18 years of related experience • 10+ years of Management experience • Experience working with Congress • Experience communicating and presenting to senior-level stakeholders • Strong working knowledge of the federal legislative and regulatory processes • Ability to build strong relationships • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills • Exemplary written and large audience presentation skills
