📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance new and existing products/product lines. • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and feedback to develop product concepts in 3D CAD. • Evaluate and recommend specifications and ensure products meet technical and functional requirements. • Recommend and follow reliable, efficient, and cost-effective procedures. • Create technical drawings and designs that are manufacturable and provide installation drawings and supporting documentation for installation in the field. • Perform feasibility, functional, and quality testing of designs. • Work closely with other engineers to align designs with production capabilities and compliance standards and ensure project milestones and timelines are met.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience required • 2-4 years of related product design experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment • Proficient in 3D CAD software, preferably AutoDesk Inventor and AutoDesk Vault • Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and production techniques, specifically in steel and sheet metal manufacturing environments • Strong organizational, critical thinking, communication, and people skills • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to accommodate periodic weekend or evening work
