• Participate in necessary pre-construction meetings: Informational meetings with Project Managers • Site Support: Coordinate and conduct regular travel to project sites for ongoing project support, as the complexity of each project requires • Prepare necessary reports related to such visits • Responsible for coordination and ensuring proper quality of service/product and timely completion of all vendors and subcontractors • Prioritize, enforce, and document safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both internal and external personnel at the construction site • Oversee the job closeout process, including punch list items • Document and track potential changes to scope, conditions, or direction from inspector/client • Communicate these items to Project Manager on project • Logistics Management: Communicate with Project Managers in terms of product orders, deliveries, and related logistics • Communicate relevant deliveries received to Project Managers, whom then incorporate critical path items into Gantt schedules • Project/Strategic Management: Meticulously track the status of every project • Strategically guide projects to completion in conjunction • Communicate with Project Managers to ensure Gantt schedules for each project are maintained on a weekly basis to ensure timely delivery of scope • Coordinate daily check-ins and weekly status meetings with an on-site supervisor and/or implementation teams • Participate in weekly status meetings with internal Project Manager and Operations Leader, to ensure smooth project delivery • Prepare weekly status reports for Project Manager and Operations Leader • Respond to any challenges and changes that arise • Closeout successfully completed projects: Coordinate with the Project Manager/Operations Leader, to ensure they have all necessary reports, photographs, etc. in order to prepare and execute project closeout packages
• 3 years experience of commercial construction experience required, 5+ years preferred • If holding a Bachelors’ degree in construction; 2+ year experience as a Superintendent is required • Ability to follow project schedules and update PM/Operations Leader, on any roadblocks or updates to the schedule • Ability to drive projects and project teams forward even when conditions are uncertain • Ability to adapt to managing projects that range beyond the traditional construction scope • Ability to travel to job sites for extended (Duration ranges based upon project need) to ensure project progresses smoothly and on schedule • Experience working in and designing for secure government environments is preferred • Prior Military experience preferred • Must be proficient with MS Suite applications including Outlook, Teams Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Dynamics • Knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and industry best practices • Ability to communicate effectively and work with others/function as part of a team and maintain good working relationships within other IG departments in a variety of time zones • Strong business communication acumen (written and verbal) • Clean driving record with proof of insurance and valid driver’s license • Prior security clearance with DOD, (Secret or top Secret) is a plus, but not required • Ability to gain access to DoD facility (required)
