📋 Description

• Design and configure SAP IS-U processes for EDM and Device Management in a greenfield SAP Cloud for Utilities environment • Work with smart metering infrastructure, interval data processing, and device lifecycle management • Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable, future-proof solutions aligned with regulatory and market demands • Lead customizing and configuration of IS-U modules for EDM and Device Management • Design and implement cloud-native utilities processes using SAP Cloud for Utilities architecture • Evaluate user stories, perform backlog grooming, and support sprint delivery in collaboration with Product Owner • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Billing, Market Communication, ABAP, Integration) to ensure seamless process orchestration • Conduct client workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into functional designs • Support end-to-end Meter-to-Cash process flows with focus on data accuracy and automation • Ensure compliance with energy market regulations and smart metering standards • Provide guidance during testing, cutover, and hypercare phases • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal capability building

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of SAP consulting experience • 5+ years in IS-U EDM and Device Management • Proven experience in SAP IS-U customizing for utilities clients (DSO or supplier) • Lead customizing and configuration of SAP IS-U modules: EDM (Interval data capture, profile management, settlement, forecasting) • Lead customizing and configuration of Device Management (installation/removal, meter reading, smart device integration) • Strong understanding of MaCo Cloud, MPM, and IDEX for market communication including MSCONS • Knowledge of SAP IS-U data model, ABAP customizing, and sandbox development • Familiarity with smart metering protocols and device integration standards • Experience with SAP Cloud for Utilities or S/4HANA Utilities (greenfield preferred) • Experience with migrations (mapping, transformation) • Ability to debug and collaborate with ABAP developers • Experience with backlog grooming, evaluating user stories, and sprint delivery; collaborate with Product Owner • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Billing, Market Communication, ABAP, Integration) • Experience conducting client workshops and translating requirements into functional designs • Experience supporting end-to-end Meter-to-Cash process flows, with focus on data accuracy and automation • Ensure compliance with energy market regulations and smart metering standards • Provide guidance during testing, cutover, and hypercare phases • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal capability building • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills in Polish (C2) and English (C2) • Broad business skill set including stakeholder management, problem-solving, and resilience • Project-related mobility / willingness to travel • Preferred: SAP Certification in IS-U or S/4HANA Utilities • Preferred: Experience with SAP BTP, Fiori, and cloud integration tools • Preferred: Exposure to German regulatory frameworks • Preferred: Experience in leading workstreams or managing functional teams
