📋 Description

• Run editing tools on incoming book manuscripts and review manuscripts to ensure quality output. • Collaborate with the Content Team to support overall editorial processes. • Provide detailed feedback and suggestions for improvements to editing tools. • Ability to perform quick-turnaround copyedits, line edits, proofreading, and beta-reading as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Location: Remote; ability to make meetings on San Francisco hours • Language: Native English speaker • Experience: Minimum 3 years professional editing experience. Minimum 1 year of experience in editing fiction. • Skills: Excellent copyediting skills. Basic understanding of quantitative reasoning. • Interest: Keen interest in utilizing AI to assist in editorial processes. • Preferred Qualifications: Genre Knowledge: Familiarity with Romance and its subgenres, especially Paranormal Romance, Contemporary, and Erotica. • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with AI models, and excitement about using AI and exploring new implementations and uses with it. • Bonus: Living in or near to San Francisco
