• Develop and execute applied health economic patient access strategies and tactical change management plans for the Intuitive Sales Organization and healthcare customers in Italy • Work with regional health systems in Italy to demonstrate applied clinical, financial and operational feasibility of Intuitive technologies using real-world evidence business cases from client data • Provide DaVinci Program Value Analysis, Infrastructure Optimization and co-develop strategic growth initiatives addressing regional patient access challenges • Act as an internal advisor collaborating with sales, marketing, digital product teams, professional education, program services, HEOR, clinical affairs, regulatory and legal to develop messaging and product strategies for P5 customer segments • Execute services contracts, acquire client data, perform advanced analytics and manage projects in remote team environments • Build relationships with regional authorities and hospitals to adapt economic value stories to local incentives • Develop cost-consequence models, utilization analyses, cost-effectiveness valuations, time-and-motion, throughput and budget-impact analyses • Provide voice-of-customer feedback and assist product teams in discovery, definition, development and delivery • Present monthly internally on goals and progress with customer strategies
• Fluent in English and Italian required • A degree (Masters or Doctorate ideal) • 5+ years’ experience in peri-operative leadership, healthcare consulting, EHR IDN account management, market access, health economics, or strategy development (preferred) • Experience executing services contracts and acquiring client data (absolute must) • Advanced analytics skills (absolute must) • Project management skills (absolute must) • Experience in remote team environments (absolute must) • Peri-operative change management experience (absolute must) • Experience in health care analytics, economics, clinical selling, marketing, health policy, reimbursement, payer strategies or health care consulting • Extensive knowledge of Italian provider/physician/policy and payer challenges, health systems and hospital inpatient settings • Ability to present real world evidence to hospital operators or senior healthcare executives • Ability to perform regional patient access assessments independently • Experience developing relationships with societies, hospitals, surgeons & payers • Solid understanding of clinical pathways, peri-operative staffing and surgical treatment approaches • Knowledge of regional market data sources, Business Intelligence platforms, exploratory and explanatory analysis, and data visualization methodologies • Experience with LEAN, Kaizen, or management consulting (highly desired) • Willingness to travel ~50% of the time
