📋 Description
• Support students through their undergraduate research journey • Act as a mentor, source of information, and facilitator to students as they progress through planning and undertaking a research project • Take a minimum of three students per semester, with the option to take up to eight • Allocate 10 hr of supervisor time per student, including supervision sessions and email communication • Mark students’ dissertations and attend team meetings and training for around 3 hr per semester
🎯 Requirements
• A MSc or PhD in a nutrition-related subject (e.g. nutritional therapy, nutritional science, dietetics, food science) or PhD in a related subject (e.g. medicine, nursing, sports science, psychology, biostatistics, sleep science) • Teaching or training experience in higher education • Previous experience supervising research projects • Organisational skills • Professional body membership/registration (a mandatory requirement for clinical modules only) • Self-directed and able to contribute to the team
