📋 Description

• Provide strategic medical and scientific subject matter expertise to IQVIA in the relevant specialty, subspecialty, or therapeutic area • Engage potential customers early • Develop proposals in response to RFPs • Participate in client proposal bid defense meetings as medical director and subject matter expert • Consult throughout the research and development lifecycle and clinical trials • Provide standalone independent customer solutions • Formulate clinical development plans • Execute group strategy and lead the strategic direction of the Center of Excellence • Collaborate across the organization to leverage IQVIA resources • Work independently of the therapeutic area head

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience • At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO setting • CRO candidates should have held a senior strategic role with strong leadership capabilities and significant expertise in Obesity • Terminal degree (MD) and training in the relevant therapeutic area • Practical knowledge in leading and managing execution of processes, projects and tactics within the research and development therapeutic area • Board Certified • Exceptional business knowledge to drive results for the organization • Extensive business and industry expertise and organizational thought leadership • Ability to travel nationally or internationally at least 20% of the time
