📋 Description

• Lead the most complex customer implementations and design solutions that transform multi-domain network operations • Serve as the technical expert on projects involving firewall automation, load balancer orchestration, cloud network integration, and compliance automation • Design and implement sophisticated multi-domain orchestration architectures and enterprise-scale automation solutions • Hands-on development using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and integration with networking ecosystems • Mentor junior engineers and lead technical workshops for customers • Collaborate with architects on solution design and influence product roadmap with field insights • Represent Itential's technical excellence in customer engagements and deliver measurable ROI through automation • Travel up to 25% for strategic engagements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, telecommunication, computer science, related field or relevant experience required • 5+ years in Network Automation required • 5+ years leading network automation initiatives • Expert-level Python, Ansible, and API development • Proficiency in Ansible, Linux, Python Scripting, Jinja2, REST APIs, JSON, SSH • Understanding of network devices and configurations across Firewalls, switches, routers, cloud networks, load balancers • Experience with vendors: Palo Alto, F5, Cisco, Arista • Familiar with infrastructure and change management platforms such as Infoblox, NetBox, ServiceNow • Confluence, Jira, Git, Pipelines • Outstanding client communication and leadership abilities • Problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to identifying automation opportunities • Strong organizational skills with commitment to delivering quality solutions • Preferred: Itential Platform expertise • Preferred: Knowledge of Terraform and cloud networking environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) • Preferred: Cloud architecture certifications • Preferred: Experience leading technical teams • Preferred: Published thought leadership in automation
