• Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and assisting with site logistics setup • Load and unload construction materials and move them to the appropriate staging areas • Operate small and medium sized tools • Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe, following all safety guidelines and regulations • Assist equipment operators with guiding materials as requested • Perform basic maintenance on small and medium sized tools and equipment used on-site • Assist in setting up and dismantling scaffolding, forms, and/or barricades • Report any site hazards or equipment issues to site supervision
• High school diploma or equivalent • Previous experience as a laborer or in construction preferred but not required • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including heavy lifting and long periods of standing or kneeling • Familiarity with construction tools and equipment • Willingness to learn new skills and follow safety protocols • Basic understanding of construction plans and drawings is a bonus • Good communication skills and ability to follow directions • Valid driver’s license may be required
