📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate the mobile engineering team • Ensure efficient delivery of engineering services across multiple client sites within the Midlands region • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mobile engineers • Conduct regular performance reviews and identifying training needs • Allocate work assignments effectively based on skills, location, and urgency • Foster a collaborative team culture focused on safety, quality, and customer service excellence • Ensure planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules are completed on time • Coordinate reactive maintenance callouts and emergency responses • Maintain effective communication with clients regarding service delivery and engineering issues • Review technician diaries daily, batching work orders to achieve full efficiency • Review and approve engineering work specifications and method statements • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture within the team • Manage out of hours (OOH) rotas including arranging cover for sickness • Ensure all technicians understand electronic forms process • Manage day 1 inductions for new technicians • Provide cover for Engineering Manager during sickness and annual leave

🎯 Requirements

• Strong I.T literacy skills • Proven experience leading or supervising engineering teams • Strong technical knowledge across building services disciplines • Experience with CAFM systems (Corrigo) and mobile workforce management tools • Full UK driving licence • Experience in facilities management or building services maintenance environment • Proficiency with performance management systems • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S qualification (Desirable) • Experience with creation of RAMS (Desirable) • CDM (Construction Design and Management) knowledge (Desirable)
