📋 Description

• Identify quality assurance and testing needs with leadership • Oversee activities to deliver high-quality, business-aligned solutions • Manage a team of QA resources and allocate testing resources based on project requirements • Communicate test plans, quality status, risks, defects, and issues to higher management • Establish and enforce quality assurance standards, testing methodologies, and best practices • Oversee test planning, test execution, defect management, and release validation • Develop, monitor, and report quality metrics and KPIs • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the QA function • Assume primary responsibility for the application administration team regarding job performance • Assist with budget processes for system, utility, and application software strategy • Investigate, review, and recommend software tools, application platforms, monitoring, and performance enhancement tools • Create a detailed roadmap for applying recommended tools • Facilitate acquisition and maintain an inventory of applications, software, and related tools and processes • Ensure an effective system performance problem reporting process • Perform application administration activities while overseeing team work activities • Develop and monitor KPIs for application administration activities • Report status and make recommendations for continuous improvement • Develop training and mentoring activities for the application administration team • Develop training for IT and business areas regarding application administration roles and processes • Act as project leader and subject matter expert on multiple complex projects • Provide oversight into all team activities • Handle human resource activities including hiring, performance management, promotion recommendations, career development, corrective action, and termination recommendations

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) (Required) • Minimum of 1 year managing people, processes, or projects (Required) • Minimum of 11 years relevant experience (Required) • Application Development Tools • Application Testing • Teamwork • Compliance with organization policies and procedures • Relevant experience may be a combination of related work experience and degree obtained (Associate’s Degree = 2 years; Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years)
