📋 Description

• Lead an agile team to deliver high-quality solutions meeting client and user needs • Create a positive, creative, and productive team culture • Empower and support team members to perform, learn, and grow • Identify and remove blockers and manage team-level risks and issues • Collaborate with Agile Team Leads and stakeholders under the guidance of a Delivery Manager • Establish ways of working for agile planning, forecasting, and product backlog delivery • Lead retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives • Manage, coach, and develop staff, including employee performance and improvement plans • Provide data, forecasts, and progress updates for planning • Facilitate workshops and discussions to capture requirements and establish shared understanding • Maintain collaborative relationships with clients, suppliers, and third-party stakeholders • Ensure stakeholders have accurate delivery-status data and technical quality standards are followed • Support the Delivery Manager in delivering agreed project outcomes within budget • Contribute to the wider Management capability

🎯 Requirements

• Eligibility for UK Security Check (SC) clearance is mandatory • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with UK public sector organisations • Minimum 3 years of experience delivering bespoke software projects from scratch using agile methodologies for external customers • Experience in bespoke software delivery as part of an agile team for an external customer • Client-facing consulting-environment experience is a must-have • Strong experience in customer-facing projects, including syncs, reporting, presentations, board meetings, workshops, and upscaling opportunities • Strong commercial awareness • Excellent interpersonal skills • High flexibility, including willingness to work away from home base • Good understanding of technology, digital services, and trends • Experience working with user research, design, and data analytics expertise • Commercial awareness in client-supplier and multi-supplier environments, with appreciation of project-level financials • Understanding of planning and reporting methods common to project delivery • Scrum Master or similar Agile delivery certification is desirable
