📋 Description

• Lead an agile team to deliver high-quality solutions meeting client and user needs • Create a positive, creative culture and productive working environment • Empower, support, manage, coach and develop team members • Foresee and remove blockers and manage team-level risks and issues • Collaborate with Agile Team Leads and stakeholders under Delivery Manager guidance • Establish ways of working for planning, forecasting and delivering against a product backlog • Model collaborative behaviours, agile values and professionalism • Lead retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives • Manage employee performance and improvement plans where necessary • Provide data, forecasts and progress updates for planning • Facilitate workshops and capture requirements • Maintain collaborative relationships with clients, suppliers and third-party stakeholders • Ensure accurate delivery-status data and technical quality standards • Support the Delivery Manager in delivering agreed outcomes within budget • Contribute to broader management responsibilities and the Management capability

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in bespoke software delivery as part of an agile team for an external customer • Client-facing consulting environment experience is a must-have • SC clearance eligibility is mandatory • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with UK public sector organizations (central government) • Minimum 3 years of experience delivering bespoke software projects from scratch using agile methodologies for external customers • Strong experience in customer-facing projects, including syncs and reporting, presentations, board meetings, workshops and upscaling opportunities • Strong commercial awareness • Excellent interpersonal skills • Highly flexible, including willingness to work away from home base • Good understanding of technology, digital services and trends • Experience working with user research, design and data analytics expertise • Understanding of planning and reporting methods common to project delivery • Scrum Master or similar Agile delivery certification is desirable
