📋 Description

• Lead across one or more multi-disciplinary agile delivery teams • Own the end-to-end product backlog and overall product quality and maturity • Lead business analysts and product consultants • Ensure requirements-gathering and prioritisation processes operate effectively • Work with delivery managers and solution architects to shape delivery approaches • Seek commercial opportunities and lead product-level commercial negotiations • Engage product- and programme-level business stakeholders, gain buy-in and manage expectations • Act as a visible leader within the consulting capability • Own delivery of consulting initiatives • Manage, coach and develop staff • Manage employee performance

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in bespoke software delivery as part of an agile team working for an external customer • Client-facing experience in a consulting environment • UK public sector experience, specifically central government • Experience owning an end-to-end product backlog and responsibility for story quality and maturity • Experience shaping approaches across software development lifecycle phases, including analysis, acceptance, launch and live operations • Experience ensuring requirements gathering, refinement and prioritisation processes are effective • Experience devising goal-oriented roadmaps, gaining stakeholder buy-in and focusing on MVP • Experience breaking goals into small pieces of value-delivering work • Experience leading product teams and managing scope effectively • Proven ability to lead and promote product management practices across agile teams • Experience coaching and mentoring clients and colleagues in agile techniques and best practices • Strong team management, mentoring and coaching skills • Strong commercial awareness and participation in revenue or sales-generating activity • Ability to build relationships with product- and programme-level business stakeholders • Experience facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders and negotiating conflicting viewpoints • Experience implementing tools, standards and techniques for business analysis and requirements gathering • Experience managing scope within commercial constraints such as cost restrictions or project deadlines • Good understanding of relevant technologies and architecture concepts
