📋 Description

• Ensure customer projects are delivered in compliance with Kainos, customer and industry best practices for physical and personnel security • Work across central and delivery teams to implement security policies and procedures • Engage Kainos stakeholders and gain buy-in for security initiatives • Act as a security role model and leader, owning delivery of security initiatives • Co-create, develop and manage security policies, procedures and protocols • Create and maintain a security culture aligned with Kainos’ values • Communicate current and relevant security threats and actions to employees and partners • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending corrective actions • Manage aftercare activities, including Change of Circumstances, Overseas Travel Briefings and Aftercare Incident Reports • Maintain compliance with government security schemes including IPSA and FSC • Work with Delivery Teams, People Support and Line Managers to identify and implement security lessons learned • Manage customer security checks and onboarding requirements • Facilitate government or Contracting Authority visits and inspections and ensure documentation, processes and records are available

🎯 Requirements

• Current holder of UK security clearance • Deep experience of HMG BPSS and UKSV vetting processes • Experience creating and implementing physical and personnel security policies • Excellent interpersonal skills • Able to work under pressure and prioritise work as required • Experience coaching and mentoring in security best practices • Experience implementing threat and risk management processes • Desirable: Experience working with a Digital organisation in MOD, Defence or National Security • Desirable: Previous experience as a Security Officer or Security Controller • Desirable: Experience working on client site day-to-day • Desirable: Active participant in communities of interest, such as online groups or speaking at conferences • Desirable: Experience working within a Project Management Office
