📋 Description

• Deliver actionable user research insights to define service experiences around user needs • Advocate for needs-based design, design thinking, and service design • Coach others in design research • Manage, coach, and develop a small number of staff • Manage employee performance and assist with career development • Lead, plan, develop, and conduct research activities • Work with client teams to deliver relevant research plans and strategies • Design and lead workshops across the project lifecycle • Represent user research across the organisation • Create exemplary digital services within the Experience Design capability

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced User Researcher (Consultant) • UK Defence Industry experience • Active SC clearance • Expert knowledge and application of qualitative and quantitative research methods • Sound understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles • Experience leading, planning, developing, and conducting research activities • Ability to work closely with client teams on research plans and strategies • Ability to design and lead workshops across a project lifecycle • Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop senior team and community members • Effective communication at all levels • Excellent commercial awareness • Strong stakeholder management skills • Desirable: experience in a full-service digital agency environment • Desirable: knowledge of user-centred design practices • Desirable: experience with Agile delivery methodologies
