📋 Description

• Own Kairos’s hiring as the organization doubles in size • Drive growth forward through internal hiring end-to-end • Build and scale the hiring infrastructure • Review grant applications and assist with active programs like SPAR, Pathfinder, and Generator • Shape the organization’s strategy and manage high-impact projects independently • Match alumni to open roles at partner organizations • Support and build the team by running hiring processes and org design questions

🎯 Requirements

• High agency and strong judgment • Mission-aligned with context on AI safety • Excited about hiring as a first mandate • Fast and decisive • Okay with unglamorous operational work • People-oriented • Comfortable in ambiguity • Prior experience with recruiting, headhunting, or talent operations, particularly in AI safety, EA, or adjacent spaces (not required) • Existing relationships across the AI safety ecosystem (not required) • Experience as a generalist or early hire at a fast-growing org (not required) • A track record of starting and shipping things independently (not required)
