📋 Description

• Own the testing lifecycle and execute end-to-end manual testing for all product features, including accounting modules. • Perform regression, sanity, and smoke testing for each release. • Translate business and accounting requirements into detailed, executable test cases. • Validate financial calculations, reporting, reconciliations, and workflows against accounting standards. • Maintain and update comprehensive test documentation (test plans, test cases, regression checklists). • Identify, log, and track defects clearly, ensuring timely resolution with developers. • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and accountants to ensure alignment on requirements. • Proactively identify gaps or inconsistencies in requirements or implementation. • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with accounting and business teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of manual QA experience, preferably in finance, accounting, or ERP systems. • Strong knowledge of accounting concepts (ledgers, invoices, reconciliations, financial reporting) • Proven ability to design and execute regression and sanity test suites. • Skilled in documenting and maintaining test plans, test cases, and defect reports. • Experience working with Jira (or similar tools) for issue tracking and test management. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication skills to explain issues in both business and technical language. • Nice to have: Background in accounting or finance (degree or professional experience). • Nice to have: Experience testing ERP, financial software, or accounting systems. • Nice to have: Familiarity with SQL for data validation. • Nice to have: Exposure to automation concepts.
