📋 Description

• Own and develop the Firm’s risk function end-to-end • Design, implement and enforce a Firm-wide risk framework across all activities • Co-design the firm’s risk architecture with the COO and CIO • Build data architecture, risk aggregation layers, real-time monitoring capabilities and reporting infrastructure • Provide integrated risk oversight across trading, treasury and investments • Cover spot and derivatives exposures across CeFi and DeFi environments • Define risk appetite and implement advanced risk metrics • Develop and maintain quantitative models for market, credit, liquidity and systemic risk • Integrate risk across centralized and decentralized venues • Assess exchange risk, counterparty risk, smart contract risk, collateral efficiency and liquidity fragmentation • Implement VaR, Expected Shortfall, stress scenarios, liquidity-adjusted risk and concentration risk metrics • Translate traditional financial risk methodologies into crypto-native environments • Report to the COO while building the quantitative risk management system

🎯 Requirements

• Strong foundation in quantitative risk management • Hands-on experience with market risk, credit risk and liquidity risk modelling • Experience with quantitative risk frameworks and modern risk theory • Ability to design and implement risk models, including tail risk estimation, scenario analysis, stress testing frameworks and dependence modelling across asset classes • Proven experience designing or co-designing firm-wide risk systems • Experience working with technology and operations to translate risk requirements into scalable infrastructure • Experience operating across traditional financial markets and digital assets, including CeFi and/or DeFi • Strong understanding of differences in market structure, risk transmission and infrastructure • Practical knowledge of exchange/custodian risk, smart contract risk, protocol risk, funding/basis dynamics and collateral management • Strong drive and proactivity • Crypto enthusiasm, commercial mindset, pragmatic flexibility and proactive ownership
