📋 Description
• Execute and manage the company’s legal and compliance matters • Contribute to an effective and efficient legal function • Draft, review, and revise a wide range of contracts • Lead negotiations with clients, vendors, and partners • Oversee the end-to-end contract lifecycle • Manage select company litigation matters • Support the Legal Department in evolving and strengthening compliance programs • Lead and develop a diverse, high-performing team
🎯 Requirements
• J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school • Active admission to any State Bar • Minimum of 5 years of direct legal experience in progressive, in-house roles, or 10 years experience with at least 3 years in in-house roles • Deep experience in contracting is required • In-house experience with CDMOs preferred • Background in the life sciences industry or adjacent manufacturing sector required • Experience with start ups is strongly preferred • Experience with a broad range of legal technologies including CLMs, research tools, and AI.
