• MBA/Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or other related sciences • Background in Chemical engineering or experience working on Chemical or alternative fuel projects is mandatory • Bachelor’s degree and applicable relevant work experience can also be considered • Minimum 6+ years of experience in management consulting or strategic marketing or industry research and competitive intelligence, or business performance, advising organizations in the energy industry • Strong experience of conducting comprehensive secondary (public and paid databases) and primary research on various industries, macro developments and regions • Data Modelling and financial modelling proficiency required • Comfortable working with huge datasets and proficient with financial analysis and modelling • Prior extensive experience of working on price and demand modelling for oil & gas products • Good understanding of interdependencies of various oil products from demand/supply perspective, pricing algorithms • Ability to work with data analytics / visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL • Familiarity and previous experience with information systems (Bloomberg, Reuters, S&P, FactSet) and Customs data • Experience with statistical and forecasting techniques such as PCA, regression, cluster analysis • Possess deep understanding of the applicable domain, strong quantitative and analytical skills, and strong business acumen • Credible experience working in a fast-moving, client-centric environment • Proficient in English with well-structured oral and written communications skills • Excellent presentation skills and ability to explain difficult concepts clearly using analytics and visualization tools • Ability to take ownership for delivering customized projects with a degree of autonomy
