📋 Description

• Provide personalised coaching, feedback and motivation to a cohort of adult learners • Create individual learning plans connecting on-the-job and off-the-job learning • Hold monthly one-to-one coaching sessions of at least 30 minutes • Conduct tripartite progress reviews with learners and line managers every 6–8 weeks • Develop and deliver subject-specific learning resources, group workshops and webinars • Track progress, set SMART goals and prepare learners for end-point assessment • Identify learners at risk of falling behind or disengaging and agree tailored interventions • Support learners returning from breaks in learning and those facing delays to complete • Maintain accurate learner records on the day of each interaction • Monitor off-the-job learning requirements and deliver against quality and performance targets • Refer learners for functional skills support where needed • Contribute to standardisation meetings and collaborate with curriculum colleagues • Work with learners, line managers and colleagues across curriculum and delivery to support engagement, progress and successful completion

🎯 Requirements

• Experience delivering training, teaching or structured learning in service design • Ability to demonstrate support for learners applying learning in practice • Relevant qualification at Level 6 or above in Service Design or a closely related field • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of service design, including user-centred design, research and insight, journey mapping, service blueprints, prototyping, testing and stakeholder collaboration • Ability to plan individual learning, give constructive feedback, monitor progress and maintain accurate records while managing a learner caseload • Minimum of GCSE grades A*–C in English and Mathematics, or grades 9–4 under the current grading system • Experience delivering the Service Designer Level 6 apprenticeship (desirable) • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of leadership principles (desirable) • Experience coaching or mentoring senior management professionals (desirable) • Teaching qualification, relevant professional body membership, or qualifications in learning, assessment or internal verification (desirable) • Right to work and successful pre-employment checks, including references and DBS checks where appropriate
