📋 Description

• Engineer and run Corporate IT Security across identity, devices, endpoints, internal networks, workforce SaaS and AI tools • Protect the employee environment and workforce-related risk involving sensitive healthcare data • Lead corporate-environment security incidents as Incident Commander under the company incident response program • Partner with Security, Legal, Compliance, IT, Engineering, People, Procurement, and business leaders • Harden identity and access through phishing-resistant MFA, SSO, session policies, least-privilege roles, and account governance • Implement device trust and conditional access using MDM and EDR across macOS and Windows • Maintain joiner-mover-leaver integrity, lifecycle provisioning, deprovisioning, offboarding, and access reviews • Secure workforce SaaS through export/API controls, session protections, OAuth governance, audit-log monitoring, and shadow-IT detection • Establish workforce AI guardrails, including approved tools, SSO, RBAC, retention, logging, and access reviews • Define and tune detection use cases with Security Operations • Coordinate investigations, remediation, tabletop exercises, post-incident reviews, and follow-up tracking • Produce control evidence for SOC 2 and other audits • Deliver a sequenced remediation backlog and measurable corporate-security improvements

🎯 Requirements

• 6–8+ years in corporate security, IT security, security engineering or security operations • 4+ years of hands-on engineering of corporate controls at a cloud-native or SaaS company • Deep hands-on experience with enterprise identity providers and SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SCIM • Experience with sign-on and session policies, device assurance or conditional access, and lifecycle automation • Experience with device trust, MDM, and EDR across macOS and Windows • Experience hardening productivity suites and major SaaS platforms • Experience defining detection use cases and writing or tuning detection rules • Incident commander or lead responder experience on real security incidents • Production-quality scripting in Python or similar and security-tool API integrations • Experience producing SOC 2 and other audit control evidence • Clear writing and executive communication; ability to translate technical risk into business impact • Experience partnering with Legal and Compliance on investigations, audits, or regulatory reviews • Required use of AI for triage, investigation, documentation, and automation with human accountability • People-management experience is not required • Nice-to-have: healthcare or life sciences experience, high-growth/pre-IPO experience, identity workflow automation, identity threat detection, SSPM, insider-risk/DLP, digital forensics, vendor evaluation, GCIH or CISSP certifications
