📋 Description

• Manage civil litigation caseloads across claimant personal injury, credit hire, and recoveries • Drive civil claims from initial instruction through settlement or final hearing • Provide clear, timely, and supportive legal advice to claimants • Prepare pleadings, court forms, letters of claim, witness statements, and settlement agreements • Negotiate settlement figures under supervision • Assemble trial bundles and instruct counsel • Maintain structured case files in Proclaim • Track limitation dates, deadlines, and procedural steps in compliance with SRA standards • Contribute to team discussions and ongoing professional development • Report to the Practice Manager within a team of six

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Paralegal • Extensive experience handling claimant personal injury, credit hire, and/or recoveries • Familiarity with CPR, pre-action protocols, and OIC/MOJ portals • Practical experience navigating small claims and fast-track matters • Ability to articulate complex legal positions clearly and sensitively in written advice, court correspondence, and claimant conversations • Commercial awareness and ability to identify emerging risks • Strong time and priority management across a diverse caseload • Intermediate track exposure preferred • Proclaim CMS proficiency preferred • ABS regulatory awareness preferred • Right to work in the UK; the employer cannot supply visas
