📋 Description

• Manage civil litigation caseloads across claimant personal injury, credit hire, and recoveries • Drive civil claims from initial instruction through settlement or final hearing • Provide clear, timely, and supportive legal advice to claimants • Navigate sensitive matters independently and escalate complex issues when needed • Prepare pleadings, court forms, letters of claim, witness statements, and settlement agreements • Negotiate settlement figures under supervision • Assemble trial bundles and instruct counsel • Maintain structured case files in Proclaim • Track limitation dates, deadlines, and procedural steps in compliance with SRA standards • Contribute to team discussions and ongoing professional development • Work within an Alternative Business Structure with mentorship and increasing autonomy • Report to the Practice Manager within a team of 6

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience handling claimant personal injury, credit hire, and/or recoveries • Familiarity with CPR, pre-action protocols, and OIC/MOJ portals • Practical experience navigating small claims and fast-track matters • Ability to articulate complex legal positions clearly and tactfully in written advice, court correspondence, and claimant conversations • Awareness of balancing legal remedies with practical business objectives • Ability to identify emerging risks early • Strong time and priority management across a diverse caseload • Familiarity with intermediate-track procedural demands (nice to have) • Practical experience with Proclaim CMS (nice to have) • Experience or insight into Alternative Business Structures (nice to have) • Right to work in the UK • Must be able to work in the UK; employer unable to supply visas
