📋 Description

• Coach apprentices, improvers and skilled engineers to develop technical competence • Deliver training on escalator installation, fault finding, repair and working methods • Provide technical support and coaching during live installation work • Support introduction of new products, tools, methods and processes • Identify skills and competence gaps and provide targeted development • Carry out practical assessments and complete Pathway sign-off • Provide early intervention where quality or capability issues are identified • Help reduce snags, errors and repeat visits • Promote KONE safety, quality and installation standards • Share technical knowledge and best practice across the field organisation • Work closely with supervisors, technical specialists and operational teams • Support continuous improvement in quality, productivity and technical capability • Develop engineers' competence faster and protect experienced engineering time

🎯 Requirements

• Full UK driving licence • CSCS card • NVQ Level 3 Escalator Installation (QCF) programme • Significant hands-on escalator installation experience • Strong practical escalator engineering experience, ideally with a significant background in installation • Technical credibility to coach others in a live working environment • Ability to share technical knowledge, provide constructive coaching and adapt approach to apprentices, improvers and experienced engineers • Flexibility to work away from home regularly during the week, with multiple overnight stays required • Willingness to travel across the UK • Passion for developing people, improving quality and raising technical standards
