⢠Provide digital counselling and emotional wellbeing support to adults ⢠Provide text-based online counselling or psychotherapy, support, and advice within the iRespond clinical and operational model ⢠Assess and manage the risks and needs of service users ⢠Signpost appropriately and complete referrals ⢠Manage an individual caseload ⢠Provide short- and mid-term structured therapeutic support and interventions for physical, emotional, and mental health issues and distress ⢠Provide digital structured therapeutic support for people with complex mental health difficulties ⢠Work within BACP or equivalent professional ethical frameworks ⢠Comply with legal, regulatory, safeguarding, data protection, and internal policy requirements ⢠Maintain accurate case notes and records using approved systems and processes ⢠Liaise with internal and external professionals and services regarding safeguarding concerns ⢠Maintain accurate shift-duty and activity information in the scheduling and rota system ⢠Attend and contribute to clinical supervision, clinical support, training, continuing professional development, team meetings, management supervision, and organisational meetings ⢠Review clinical work and performance against agreed work schedules and KPIs
⢠Relevant professional qualification in Counselling at level 4 minimum, recognised by BACP, UKCP, NCS or equivalent ⢠Registration with BACP (MBACP reg.) or equivalent recognised UK counselling and psychotherapy awarding body registration (NCS, UKCP, COSCA) ⢠Accreditation-eligibility in counselling or psychotherapy at diploma level (level 4 minimum) or above ⢠Minimum 450 supervised clinical practice hours ⢠3 years post-qualifying experience working as a qualified and clinically supervised Counsellor/Psychotherapist ⢠3 years post-qualifying experience providing counselling and/or mental health support to adults aged 18+ in face-to-face or digital settings ⢠Experience conducting risk and needs assessments, referrals, and short-term and long-term counselling/psychotherapy ⢠Experience in risk management interventions ⢠Experience in adult safeguarding and child protection, with clear knowledge of related policies and legislation ⢠Experience providing effective engagement and immediate support to adults in distress ⢠Ability to work remotely with good broadband, a safe home-working setup, and competent technology use ⢠Exceptional time management and ability to manage a clinical caseload and administrative tasks ⢠Availability for at least 30 hours per week across 4- or 6-hour shifts, afternoons, evenings, and weekends ⢠Understanding of social, environmental, and economic factors affecting mental health ⢠Resilience and empathy when supporting people in distress ⢠Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion issues in practice ⢠Willingness to learn mental health issues and psychological change theories ⢠Belief that outcomes should be measured ⢠Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams ⢠Successful enhanced DBS check required
