📋 Description
• Kota is making insurance and retirement benefits as accessible as modern software. • This is a foundational design leadership role where you'll shape how platforms, businesses and their employees experience insurance and benefits. • You'll work closely with our existing designer and help elevate the entire design function. • As our first senior designer, you'll be expected to drive design strategy, create and enhance our design systems and ensure our embedded products deliver exceptional experiences. • You’ll be joining a team of people who are all incredibly passionate, driven and excited about the work we’re doing.
🎯 Requirements
• A track record in product design of delivering compelling customer experiences across the whole product experience. • The foundations to mould a design strategy for our products, making decisions that impact how hundreds of thousands of people access insurance and retirement. • An ability to think holistically about user experiences to simplify and unify complex, fragmented product experiences into a coherent and trustworthy journey giving users a consistent sense of familiarity and safety across markets. • Comfort in working at pace and being able to pivot direction based on fresh company strategies and initiatives. • Proven experience creating, maintaining, and scaling design systems and thinking in ways to create reusable patterns and components across each product. • A portfolio of design work that demonstrates how you solve customer problems, design systems around complex requirements, and can deliver creative product ideas and solutions to these challenges. • Well established sync and async communication and presentation skills to align stakeholders across the business, compliance and product teams.
