📋 Description

Our four core values are grow yourself, care about people, execute to greatness and build civilisation. • Laminar Projects is proud to be recognized as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Construction, Engineering & Property™ for 2024! • This is a hybrid role which will combine remote working with site presence in client projects. • Purpose of the role: You will be enhancing the delivery of the most complex and interesting projects in the world through the power of project planning. You will be a senior leader in our team pushing the discipline to new heights not only within Laminar but within the industry in general. • Responsibilities include owning the project plan, ensuring effective management, reporting to stakeholders, and developing scalable solutions. • You don’t have to already be an expert planner for this role. We will train you in the full breadth of project planning, commercial, leadership, communication and technology so that you become an expert project leader equipped to transform any project you touch.

• Mastery: Solid construction project planning capability in all aspects that take into account strategic objectives and the broad context you are operating in • Communication: The charisma, influence and presence to get construction people to do new things and take the best approach • Leadership: A proven leader/coach/developer of teams • Impact: A track record of implementing scalable and repeatable solutions in projects that had a significant positive impact • Nice to Have (If you don’t have it now you will be trained intensively after joining): • - Mastery: Decent Excel skills and a strong interest in data. Knowledge and experience in other fields beyond planning • - Communication: Master of effective communication from the site to the boardroom • - Leadership: A proven leader/coach/developer of teams of teams • - Impact: Impacts that have gone beyond your project and improved organisations as a whole in a way that has spread to others • Laminar isn’t the place for you if any of the following is true: • - You want an easy, chilled-out role without much challenge • - You like to be the smartest person in the room • - You don’t like continuously receiving honest candid feedback • - You prefer to do your own thing rather than work with a team
