• Requires independent discretion for account verifications and approvals that help the business continue growing (Fraudulent accounts could result in millions of dollars in losses) • Strong attention to detail when reviewing new client account information • Working with other departments to help protect the company against fraud • Independently onboarding, reviewing, and approving new accounts • Create initial limits for accounts based on account review, work with Risk for adjustments • Seeking out accounts that appear to be fraudulent and alerting management when necessary • Collaborating with the other Underwriting team members in order to work most efficiently • The last day of every month require additional attention to help the business continue to grow • Customer account maintenance as needed • Possessing positive, can-do attitude during busy times of the month
• Bachelor's Degree required • 1 year experience with the company preferred • Minimum of 5 years work experience preferably in an underwriting capacity • “Can-do” attitude that is always willing to go Above and Beyond their everyday tasks • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to excel in a collaborative, team environment • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
