📋 Description

• Develop and implement data management processes, including metadata and catalog management, data quality, and data management • Create procedures, standards, data governance policies and related processes • Identify and track implementation of improvements to the data catalog tool together with technical teams • Support the implementation of Data Quality in transactional systems and in the Data Platform • Create processes and monitor the governance initiatives established • Lead the definition and optimization of data governance processes aligned with technical teams, ensuring clear communication and value generation for client areas • Prepare and deliver data governance training and act as a promoter of a data-driven culture and governance processes • Implement data access management in the data lake • Participate in the team’s agile ceremonies (SAFe/Scrum/Kanban), use ServiceNow and provide clarity on activities, refine tasks, and report risks and impediments clearly and promptly • Documentation culture: maintain clear documentation of all processes, requirements and projects developed by the data governance team • Align with technical areas and business and strategic teams • Help run workshops and training to advance the area’s data maturity

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with data catalog and data management tools: GCP – DataPlex and Open Metadata are essential • Practical experience in Data Governance processes such as metadata management and provisioning, data quality, data stewardship and MDM • Knowledge of Power BI for creating and maintaining dashboards • Knowledge of data lineage, data access management, data discovery and data incident management • General knowledge of data ingestion processes • Experience promoting a data-driven culture and advancing data maturity in companies through training and workshops • Strong experience in areas involving data governance, data analysis, data manipulation or providing data to business stakeholders • Communication, influencing and problem-solving skills • Prioritization sense and analytical capability • Ability to manage complex tasks autonomously, meeting deadlines and agreements • Execution-oriented profile with high autonomy, ownership mentality and strategic vision • Ability to train and coach more junior team members • Demonstrate strong commitment to company and area goals/OKRs • Desired: Experience in data migration projects to the cloud (experience with GCP is a plus) and project management • Considered a plus: Intermediate SQL proficiency with ability to extract, transform and analyze data and intermediate experience with Python
