📋 Description

• Develop and deliver solutions using Python, AI, data analytics, and automation for operational performance challenges • Partner with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to understand business problems, define requirements, and recommend technical approaches • Build, test, refine, and implement reusable code, analytical tools, and AI-enabled workflows • Analyze operational data to identify risks, recurring issues, root causes, and performance improvement opportunities • Apply AI and machine learning to accelerate analysis, identify patterns, support decisions, and improve POAM prioritization • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions and convert successful approaches into sustainable capabilities • Improve analytical processes through automation, data integration, and code-first workflows • Translate findings into recommendations, actions, and measurable performance improvements • Communicate findings and recommended actions to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Support AI adoption and capability development across the team • Extend successful solutions to broader Navy performance initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 4–8 years of prior relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2–6 years of prior relevant experience; additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree • US citizenship • Active DoD secret security clearance • Experience developing and implementing data-driven, analytical, automation, or AI-enabled solutions • Strong Python programming skills • Experience gathering stakeholder needs, framing problems, defining requirements, and delivering practical solutions • Experience using data analysis, applied machine learning, or AI techniques • Ability to work with large, complex, or imperfect datasets • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently develop and implement solutions • Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences • Experience with AI-enabled applications, automation solutions, or decision-support tools using Python and modern development frameworks • Experience with generative AI, LLMs, AI APIs, or related tools • Experience with SQL, data pipelines, APIs, or integrating multiple data systems • Familiarity with Git, version control, testing, documentation, and reusable code design • Experience in technical consulting, analytics consulting, solutions engineering, or business-facing development • Experience developing prototypes and iterating based on user feedback • Familiarity with operational performance metrics, service-level agreements, continuous improvement, or contract-driven environments • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or government environments
