📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end delivery of workload migration from the mainframe to AWS • Own project planning, milestones, dependencies, risks and delivery governance • Coordinate engineering, infrastructure, cloud and stakeholder teams throughout the migration • Use Rocket Software and mainframe technology knowledge to understand technical requirements and facilitate technical discussions • Translate between technical teams and business/project stakeholders • Define migration approach, sequencing and acceptance criteria with engineering teams • Oversee migration testing, validation and readiness activities • Identify and resolve technical and delivery blockers • Ensure migrated workload meets functional, performance and operational requirements • Provide reporting on project progress, risks and outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience as a Technical Project Manager, Technical Delivery Manager or Migration Lead • Previous experience delivering technically complex migration or modernisation projects • Knowledge of Rocket Software technologies and their use within mainframe environments • Good understanding of mainframe architecture and workloads • Experience working with AWS and cloud migration programmes • Technical credibility to work closely with engineers, architects and infrastructure specialists • Strong understanding of testing, migration planning, dependencies and technical risk management • Experience coordinating multiple technical teams against tight delivery timescales • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
