📋 Description

• Design and deliver enterprise-wide data architecture strategies supporting business ambitions • Architect scalable, secure and high-performing data solutions across cloud and on-premises environments • Design AI and machine learning solutions addressing business challenges and delivering measurable value • Improve existing infrastructure and optimise performance • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency • Establish data governance, quality, security and compliance frameworks • Partner with business leaders, engineers and data scientists to turn complex requirements into practical solutions • Explore emerging technologies and challenge existing approaches • Help teams remain ahead of technological developments • Mentor technical colleagues and support a culture of collaboration, learning and innovation

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience in data architecture, data engineering or enterprise technology architecture, including leading large-scale initiatives • Strong experience designing data platforms using AWS, Azure or Google Cloud • Expertise in data modelling, SQL, NoSQL and modern database technologies • Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop or distributed computing frameworks • Programming knowledge in Python, Scala, Java or similar languages • Experience architecting AI and machine learning solutions, including deploying models into production • Solid understanding of data governance, security, quality and compliance • Strong problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly to a wide range of stakeholders • Ability to influence stakeholders and shape long-term technology decisions
