📋 Description
• Support the monthly balance sheet account reconciliation process for accounts across entities • Support month-end close procedures for designated sites, including close checklists, statistical entry and reconciliation, and post-close review and analysis • Assist with balance sheet and income statement analysis for designated facilities and account ranges, including projects, fixed assets, leases, net revenue, and net accounts receivable • Support facility leadership and LBS Finance teams with annual budgets and monthly operations forecasts • Investigate, explain, and resolve balance sheet reconciliation variances • Support quarterly reviews and annual audits by providing requested support and explanations • Interact with HSC Office management across various departments • Perform other duties supporting the HSC Accounting department • Review and record journal entries with facility leadership and the Site Liaison team; verify support and accuracy • Use Oracle OTBI and SmartView for directed financial analyses • Assist in identifying process improvements and efficiencies within the LBS organization • Participate in training and professional development to remain current with accounting standards and healthcare regulations
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or related experience • 1–2 years of experience preferred; previous accounting experience preferred but not required • Internships or related coursework may be considered • CPA designation preferred • Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
