📋 Description

• Work closely with CFO to strengthen and scale the company’s financial foundation and align financial strategy with business objectives. • Own accounting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, and FP&A functions. • Lead timely, accurate month-end close and reporting cycles; ensure GAAP compliance and audit readiness by coordinating with external auditors. • Strengthen internal controls, build financial infrastructure, policies, and procedures to mitigate risk and support scale. • Monitor departmental spend, conduct variance analysis, and identify cost-saving opportunities. • Partner with executive team on financial strategy, capital allocation, and long-term planning; own annual budgeting and recurring forecasting cycles. • Develop dashboards, KPIs, scenario analyses, and translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience in a high-growth start-up environment. • Deep knowledge of GAAP; proven ownership of the monthly close. • CPA a plus. • Experience managing broader FP&A responsibilities, including financial modeling and monthly business reviews; experience in banking, VC/PE, or consulting a plus. • Fluency with modern finance and accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Ramp, Excel, Gusto). • Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail, a hands-on approach, and a bias for action and learning.
