• Provides clinical and product education to healthcare professionals on the full portfolio of LivaNova Cardiopulmonary products. • Delivers training sessions in person or virtually, ensuring all instruction follows the approved Instructions for Use (IFU). • Coordinates hospital clinical and non-clinical demonstrations, in-person and virtual education programs, intra-operative case coverage, product evaluations, and ad hoc training as needed. • Works independently within the role while maintaining close collaboration with team members and company stakeholders, including Sales. • Manages time effectively, balances independent work with stakeholder engagement, and collaborates across teams. • Provides clinicians and medical staff clear clinical guidance to ensure continuity of education and support related to patient outcomes, in accordance with each product’s IFU. • Plans, directs, and delivers clinical training programs for LivaNova products as appropriate. • Develops and maintains expert product knowledge across the LivaNova cardiopulmonary portfolio. • Integrates professionally into accounts, builds trust and strong relationships with customers, and establishes a reliable rapport. • Collaborates regularly with internal stakeholders for installations and evaluations, including Training, Field/Technical Service, and Account Executives, to improve team efficiency and maximize customer-facing time. • Maintains a positive, proactive customer service approach with customers and sales personnel, even in stressful situations. • Builds high-trust relationships with customers and LivaNova colleagues. • Takes a proactive approach to solving complex or unusual clinical, therapy, or technical problems. • Anticipates obstacles and plans accordingly to ensure seamless execution. • Adheres to all regulatory requirements and LivaNova policies to ensure patient safety and corporate compliance. • Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of assigned accounts and customers, including competitor activity. • Supports product evaluations and sales strategies for capital equipment opportunities within accounts. • Provides feedback to providers in both operating-room and non-operating-room settings on product directions for use and maintenance. • Attends trade shows, conferences, and congresses to maintain clinical expertise, stay current with market trends, and engage with customers on product discussions. • Meets and maintains credentialing requirements to access customer accounts. • Provides sales support as needed through clinical in-services, training, and guidance for current or potential customers. • Collaborates with regional and global marketing teams on projects, clinical discussions, program development, and product development as required. • Contributes to the development of internal and external education programs. • Supports training for the sales team, including onboarding new hires, ongoing education, and product launches. • Acts as a team player with a strong ability to collaborate across the Training team and other LivaNova functions (Sales, Technical Service, Marketing, Quality, etc.).
• Education and clinical practice as a perfusionist are required. • Demonstrated ability and desire to teach. • Strong collaborator who works effectively on cross-functional teams, including distributed teams across locations. • Self-confidence and effectiveness when engaging with a wide variety of customer types. • Highly effective working both independently and as part of a large collaborative team. • High energy level with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. • Proficient computer skills for preparing and delivering presentations to customers. • Ability and willingness to engage and motivate others in team efforts. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. • Ability to interpret scientific information and present it clearly to healthcare professionals. • Strong oral and written comprehension skills. • Ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements.
