📋 Description

• Design, deploy, and evolve multiple production Ceph clusters • Build efficient APIs for near-zero-downtime live migrations of stateful workloads • Design and implement storage-orchestration and control-plane services using Go, gRPC, ScyllaDB, and Temporal • Write clear Engineering Requirements Documents for scoped tasks through deployment and evaluation • Develop foundational storage primitives enabling advanced platform features.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep experience building distributed systems • Production experience with distributed block storage systems (e.g., CEPH) • Strong understanding of modern filesystems (Ext4, ZFS, Btrfs) • Strong intuition for system longevity and lifecycle management • Experience implementing solutions and documenting for future engineers • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and bring clarity in early-stage environments • Grit and ownership, diving deep into problems and scaling solutions.
