📋 Description
• Lead marketing initiatives for backlist titles and themed groupings, including specialized verticals and media tie-ins. • Proactively monitor publishing shifts, social media trends, and cultural moments. • Work closely with the account team to identify backlist titles for price promotions. • Analyze the results of backlist promotions and use those insights to inform future strategy. • Partner with broader Macmillan teams and internal stakeholders to integrate audio into larger company-wide initiatives. • Identify holiday-specific or monthly cultural opportunities to highlight catalog titles through targeted digital efforts.
🎯 Requirements
• At least 2–5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within book publishing. • Proven experience using data to drive marketing decisions or promotional strategies. • College degree or equivalent professional experience required.
